What is CARF Accreditation?
Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) is an independent, nonprofit organization focused on advancing the quality of services used to meet the best possible outcomes. Providers that meet CARF’s rigorous standards have demonstrated their commitment to being among the best available.
The CARF accreditation process applies sets of standards to service areas and business practices during the on-site survey. Accreditation, however, is an ongoing process, signaling to the public that a service provider is committed to continuously improving services, encouraging feedback, and serving the community.
CARF-accredited service providers have applied CARF’s comprehensive set of standards for quality to their business and service delivery practices. This means that the center has demonstrated conformance to proven standards for business practices and are committed to continuous quality improvement. Each provider’s commitment to excellence is annually evaluated on site.
